The first annual Viola Fair took place on Saturday, November 13, 2004 from 1:00 - 4:30PM at Hamline University's Sundin Hall. The afternoon began with riveting video footage of "The Viola Show" featuring Paul Coletti.
After the video, Interim President Korey Konkol addressed the audience.
We then heard from our first guest speaker, Kenneth Freed.
A small break followed, complete with homemade snacks and a chance to socialize with other violists.
After our break, we listened to our second speaker, Alice Preves.
Finally, we topped off the afternoon with a wonderful recital presented by members of the Minnesota Viola Society. Our first Viola Fair began with fascinating video footage, continued with thought-provoking and insightful presentations, and concluded with inspiring performances. Thank you to everyone who attended Viola Fair '04, and we hope to see you at future MVS events!
